The Incredible and Fascinating History of Kyiv Oblast!

What would you say if we offered you the chance to travel in time and feel the spirit of old days? Think it’s impossible? Well, the guides of Bila Tserkva would disagree with you!
In Bila Tserkva, theatrical excursions were launched where the guides were Prince Yaroslav the Wise himself, who first founded the town back in 1032, Elzhbieta Vorontsova, née Branicka, Oleksandra Vasylivna Branicka, a Mistress of the Robes and one of the most influential ladies-in-waiting of her time, Roxandra Lupu, a princess of the Principality of Moldavia and daughter-in-law of Bohdan Khmelnytsky, a descendant of Sholem Aleichem, a boy named Yasha, a flower seller and a worker of the Branicki greenhouse, and Valentyna Chystiakova, the wife of Les Kurbas.
On Torhova Square a real Ukrainian fair takes place with the characters of “The Kaidash Family”, Baba Palazhka and Baba Paraska! Incredibly, even in this century they have managed to quarrel, make peace and sell everything that was on the counter!
Bila Tserkva invites tourists from other cities. The organisers promise to hold such excursions more often and already have plans for other grand projects!
