Mezhyhiria Memorial Park — The Main Tourist Location of the Vyshhorod District
The Mezhyhiria Memorial Park, covering 137 hectares in the village of Novi Petrivtsi in the Vyshhorod district, has been open to visitors since 2014 and is one of the most well-known tourist attractions of the Kyiv region. It is precisely for the sake of Mezhyhiria that many travellers first come to the Vyshhorod district. It is easy to spend several hours or even an entire day here. The territory is so large that several routes of varying lengths have been prepared for guests — from a short three-kilometre stroll to a route of over 8 kilometres. Today Mezhyhiria is a large landscape park with well-maintained avenues, a cascade of lakes, walking paths, and views of the Kyiv Sea. On the grounds you can see a collection of vintage cars and motorcycles, a small zoo, the Honka residence house, decorative ponds, and architectural objects of the former residence. In the park area you can encounter peacocks, swans, and ducks. Part of the routes run along the lakes and lead to viewpoints from which a panorama of the Kyiv Reservoir opens up. Mezhyhiria Park near Vyshhorod is open daily, and admission to the grounds is paid. For convenience, a bicycle or electric cart can be rented. The XII Months Zoo in the village of Demydiv at 79 Verbova Street is one of the largest private zoos in Ukraine. The location is well suited for family recreation: there are children's playgrounds, walking areas, and the opportunity to feed some animals with special food. Museum of Ancient Rus Pottery
The Museum of Ancient Rus Pottery in Vyshhorod is part of the Vyshhorod Historical and Cultural Reserve. Its main attraction is a unique 11th-century pottery kiln, considered the only one preserved in Eastern Europe. In addition, the museum houses a large collection of ceramics from the princely era, fragments of products from the Mezhyhirska Faience Factory, and an exhibition dedicated to the traditions of Kyiv Polissia. Dnipro-Teteriv Nature Reserve "Sukholuchchia"
