Chubynsky's Farmstead — The Birthplace of the Author of Ukraine's Anthem
In the village of Chubynske in the Boryspil district, Pavlo Chubynsky was born — the author of the text of Ukraine's National Anthem "Ukraine Has Not Yet Perished." The landscape reserve "Chubynsky's Farmstead" has been preserved here — a place of remembrance for every Ukrainian. Today it is a nationally significant territory covering 10 hectares, created to protect valuable natural complexes and the historical and cultural heritage of the Kyiv region. It was here that the Chubynsky family estate once stood, where the future author of the text of Ukraine's National Anthem came into the world. The estate itself has not survived, yet the place still retains its connection to his figure. In addition to its historical significance, "Chubynsky's Farmstead" is also of interest as a nature conservation monument. An oak forest grows here, and the age of individual trees reaches 200–300 years. According to specialists, these are the remnants of primeval forests that once covered the Left Bank of the Dnipro. Today people come here to walk among the old oaks, learn more about the figure of Pavlo Chubynsky, and visit a place connected to the history of the creation of Ukraine's anthem.

Chubynsky Ostrich Farm
The Chubynsky Ostrich Farm is located 10 km from Boryspil Airport — one of the easiest options for a family trip near the capital. It is situated in the village of Chubynske and covers an area of approximately 18 hectares. This Kyiv region farm operates from 10:00 to 15:00 and has a petting zoo where you can see ostriches, rabbits, peacocks, roe deer, raccoons, and other animals. The ostrich farm near Boryspil offers guided tours for visitors, and play areas have been set up for children.
The Kanevsky Rotunda
The tourist sites of the Boryspil district reveal to travellers a rare example for the Kyiv region of a 19th-century rotunda church. This is the Kanevsky Rotunda in the village of Voskresenske. The church was built in 1855 on the estate of the Kanevsky family, of which almost nothing has survived to the present day. The structure attracts attention with its circular form, unusual for Ukrainian architecture, and its preserved elements of façade decoration.
Pereiaslav — A City of Museums
The greatest concentration of museums in the Kyiv region is found in Pereiaslav. There are over 30 museums here. However, for a first introduction to the city, we recommend choosing the Open-Air Museum of Folk Architecture and Everyday Life of the Middle Dnipro Region. Spread across 25 hectares, it brings together around 300 objects, including traditional Ukrainian cottages, farm buildings, windmills, and monuments of folk architecture from the 17th to 19th centuries. This is one of those locations where it is easy to spend several hours before continuing the route to other points of interest in Pereiaslav.
Monument to the Young Taras Shevchenko
In Yahotyn, you can see an unusual monument to Taras Shevchenko, created by People's Artist of Ukraine Ivan Honchar. This is one of the few sculptures where Shevchenko appears not as a grey-haired classic, but as a young artist at the beginning of his creative path. The monument depicts the poet roughly as the 29-year-old Shevchenko appeared when he first came to Yahotyn. The monument, unveiled in 1971, stands on the grounds of Yahotyn Lyceum No. 3.
