Bus transport

The route network of Kyiv Oblast includes a great many public bus routes: international, interregional, suburban, intercity and city routes.

Bus timetables to the main tourist attractions of Kyiv Oblast:

Pereiaslav

Buses depart from Kyiv, Vydubychi bus station. According to the route schedule, the first departure from Kyiv Vydubychi bus station is at 6:55 and the last at 19:00. From Pereiaslav — at 4:45, the last at 16:55. Buses run every 40–60 minutes.

Kyivan Rus Park

Buses in the direction Kyiv – Stepok depart from Vydubychi bus station, platform No. 5. The first departure is at 9:45, the last at 18:20.

The second option is with a change in Obukhiv. Kyiv – Obukhiv route, minibus No. 511 from Vydubychi bus station. Service starts at 6:30, the last minibus is at 23:30. Minibuses run every 1–15 minutes.

Then change to the Obukhiv – Stepok minibus. Departure times: 6:10, 9:45, 13:30, 15:50, 18:20. From Kopachiv a minibus runs at 14:10 to Obukhiv, at 16:30 to Kyiv (Vydubychi bus station) and at 19:30 to Obukhiv.

Rzhyshchiv

The bus departs from Vydubychi bus station. The first departure is at 7:30, the last at 19:30.

Mezhyhirya

Mezhyhirya National Park in Novi Petrivtsi village and the 12 Months Zoo can be reached by bus route No. 355 Lisovychi – Kyiv, Polissia bus station.

Rail transport

The railway lines of the oblast are served by the South-Western and Southern Railways.

Crete International Corridor No. 9, which runs through Scandinavia, Western Europe, Poland, Ukraine, the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation, passes through Kyiv Oblast.
