Journey “Kyiv Oblast”

Tourist routes have been launched in the region as part of the “#ExploreKyivRegion” project and a memorandum signed between the Kyiv Regional State Administration and mobile operators, identifying interesting tourist places in the rural districts of Kyiv Oblast. Recently this route, with the participation of the Ukrainian Guides Association, was covered by one of the project’s promo tours “#ExploreKyivRegion”.

During the excursion the participants visited the Ukrainian Village ethnic complex, where they could see cottages from 6 different corners of Ukraine. You can look inside the houses and see and feel for yourself the spirit of 20th-century Ukraine. The complex has its own zoo, and you can also learn pottery, bake bread, blacksmithing and much more. If you wish, you can sleep in atmospheric “Ethno-Hats”.

Next is the “Ostrich Valley”, the largest ostrich farm in Ukraine, located in the village of Yasnohorodka. Here you can see ostriches, various animals and birds of the petting zoo. The farm also has a restaurant where you can try exclusive ostrich dishes and sample the author’s wine in a real wine cellar.

The promo tour organisers advise visiting the Fairy-Tale Village of Bobrytsia, where you can see how a community can build a village of its dreams. The best ecological, socially useful and economically viable practices have been introduced here.

Bobrytsia is an art village, a public space where you can immerse yourself in art right in the middle of the street. Here you can take a vitamin-rich tour of the “green gold” greenhouses, as well as visit the “Orion” equestrian club.

It is worth noting that the route is designed for two days.
