About

Not far from Bohuslav, in a picturesque area, lies a village with a centuries-old history and a remarkable name – Medvyn.

It was first mentioned as early as the 12th century. Not far from this place, in the middle of a field, rises a hill covered with grass and fragrant flowers, with a sign on its slope: Hillfort, archaeological monument. This is Mount Totokha, also called the Ukrainian Tibet. According to legend, the Khorobra River once flowed here, and on the site of the hillfort there was a mooring for ships.

The purpose of Mount Totokha is not known for certain. Perhaps pagan rituals were once held here. In any case, everyone who visits the mountain notes its mystical influence. Totokha is a mound protected by law, but anyone may visit it.

The origin of the mountain’s name is another mystery. Some say the name comes from the Turkic word “Totokha”, meaning “special”. Others believe the mountain was named after the god Thoth, patron of the moon and wisdom, creator of the calendar.

Now this place has been favoured by psychics and bioenergy practitioners from all over the world, who claim that Mount Totokha is one of the most powerful centres of positive energy on the planet – the “navel of the Earth”, the hand of God, an “open channel” similar to Altai or Tibet. It is known that a Slavic sanctuary once stood on the summit, and these were only set up in places with a particularly strong energy flow!

People come to Mount Totokha for the fulfilment of wishes, changes in life and inspiration. At almost any point Totokha gives off positive energy. You should climb to the summit with pure thoughts and positive emotions. On this mountain a person is recharged with energy and rests. Well-being improves, the mind clears, and the person’s biofield expands. At the same time the potential of the energy points in the human body is evened out, and the energy structures of the biofield are restored. After you return home you will begin to notice changes in your life, questions that long gave you no peace of mind will start to resolve themselves, and perhaps you will discover new talents in yourself!

And even if you do not believe in the miraculous properties of the mountain, and the sensations at the summit are ordinary, this is no reason to despair. Enchanting views of the Ukrainian forest-steppe, incredibly clean air and crystal-clear water from the spring at the foot of Totokha are guaranteed to you!
