The Church of St Michael the Archangel is a monument of 19th-century Ukrainian wooden architecture. It was built over two years at the expense and through the efforts of the villagers, and on 19 December 1896 it was solemnly consecrated. The church functioned until 1931, when it was closed and turned into a grain store. In 1942, during the German occupation, services were resumed in the church and it has not been closed since. The shrine is harmoniously set in the landscape of a Ukrainian village. Its architecture is in the traditional Orthodox style: light facades, an expressive dome and a well-kept territory
