The ziggurat church attracts attention with its rather original appearance (a ziggurat is a stepped religious structure in ancient Mesopotamia). The church has features of classicism and Empire style. The facade is decorated with columns and ornaments in the form of plant motifs. In the 1770s Mykhailo Pidhorskyi bought Antoniv, and from then on the village became the family’s property.
In 1810 Oleksandr Pidhorskyi, having returned from abroad, built the ziggurat church in Antoniv. There was also a family palace in the village, but it has not survived to this day. The Pidhorskyi family vault has been preserved in the church, but now it is empty.
