About the place

The Lyutyzkyi bridgehead is located on the outskirts of the village of Novi Petrivtsi in the Vyshhorod district of Kyiv region and is an important monument of the Second World War. The "Battle for Kyiv in 1943" Museum is situated here.

At the end of the last century, research work was initiated within the complex for war veterans, and numerous historical memories were collected. These memories enable the reconstruction of events and introduce them to contemporary boys and girls.

Within the territory of the Lyutyzkyi bridgehead, a mobile exhibition operates, aimed at acquainting visitors with the history of our country from ancient times to the present day. Visitors can explore interesting dioramas, the Monument to the Liberation Warriors, and become familiar with the museum's exhibits, which was opened in honor of the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the Ukrainian capital from the Nazis.
