About

The Khoietsky Palace was built in 1903-1910 in the Art Nouveau style. It was built by the descendants of the Polish nobleman Jan Khoietsky, who bought the lands of Tomashivka in 1810. However, after the October Revolution the palace was taken from them, so they did not enjoy it for long. The author of the project was the architect Valerian Kulikovsky.

Today it is the Rizopolozhensky Monastery for men, which can safely be counted among the most beautiful monasteries in Ukraine. Its territory is surrounded by a wall; near the main entrance grows a young apple orchard, followed by a tall bell tower, a fountain, statues of lions and statues on religious themes, a landscape park, many beautiful flower beds with a variety of flowers, a little bridge leading to the church, a long stone staircase and a landscaped descent to the Irpin River. There is also a small zoo where you can see ostriches, llamas, peacocks, parrots, pigeons and more.
