The Resurrection Church, built in 1800, is the last example of Cossack church architecture. Its walls are decorated with vertical cladding, and the absence of domes and baroque elements suggests an unfinished project. Architects believe that high baroque domes were planned, but the imperial prohibition prevented the completion of the construction.
