The spring of the Dormition of the Blessed Virgin Mary in the village of Rizhky in the Tarashcha district of the Kyiv region, according to legend, appeared thanks to a real miracle, and its water is able to heal even the most serious illnesses.
The spring was discovered in the forest on the outskirts of the settlement as early as the end of the 19th century. Local residents who worked nearby began to notice that water was seeping out near an old willow, forming a puddle. It quenched thirst wonderfully on hot days.
