About

Born during the war, the craft bakery “Vytach” is a place of power that can be visited at any time of year! This location is in a picturesque town of the Kyiv region, on a hill from which a stunning panorama of the Dnipro opens, so here you can not only enjoy tasty freshly baked bread but also take in wonderful views over a cup of coffee. The complex itself includes several interesting sites: a viewing platform in ethnic style, a working chapel of the Ukrainian Spiritual Republic built by Oles Berdnyk, which is the only architectural structure created from a sketch by Taras Shevchenko, an old Cossack windmill and, accordingly, the wood-fired craft bakery-café itself. The war changed the lives of all Ukrainians, but the “Vytach” bakery was decided to be opened even in such difficult conditions, in order to help those who need it. The bakery still bakes 300 loaves of bread for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, energy cookies for the Azov regiment and for residents of destroyed territories. Charity evenings and events are organised here, resulting in funds raised for the specific needs of soldiers and civilian residents of de-occupied territories. Since November 2022 the bakery has also worked as an “Invincibility Point”, and volunteers can now help bake the special “Together” cookies, whose recipe is as much as 110 years old. At the bakery you can also join solidarity offers if you wish to help with a good deed, such as delivering bread to the affected territories – to those who need it so much.”Vytach” cooperates with volunteer organisations and charitable foundations and is actively engaged in volunteering no matter what, because people here know that every patriot of Ukraine now has their own front. Small or large, dangerous or tense, occasional or permanent, material or spiritual support. But it exists – and as long as we are together, we are unbreakable…
