The Zhurivka Arboretum is a landmark of landscape gardening art of local significance in Ukraine. It is located in the urban-type settlement of Zhurivka in the Kyiv Oblast. Area: 309 ha. It is subordinate to the Berezan forestry of the Pereiaslav state forestry enterprise. In 1837 the Kyiv vice-governor, Actual State Councillor A. V. Kochubei, laid out a park around his palace. A Swiss gardener played one of the main roles in creating the park. Now the park, considered one of the largest in Ukraine (309 ha), is the main adornment of Zhurivka. Despite some neglect, there is plenty to see in it: ancient trees, large ponds, and an islet with a round little house.
