The appearance of this tourist site is a story of transforming a neglected farmstead with a half-ruined house into an ethno-estate. In its rooms a real ethnographic museum has been created, with a stove, utensils, clay dishes, towels, icons and old photographs. In the wide yard there is a barn with an ox harness, ploughs and carts.
Here you can also get acquainted with a collection of vehicles from the time of the Second World War: trucks and cars, motorcycles, a field kitchen – all the equipment is in excellent condition and in running order.
Every year on the Day of Remembrance and Reconciliation, a column of vehicles with local men in military uniform of the 1940s sets out through the villages of the Yahotyn area, attracting the attention of local residents and lovers of soldier’s porridge from the field kitchen.
