In the centre of the village of Velyka Buhaivka in the Vasylkiv area lies the Stork Field, a beautiful, cosy place colourful with wildflowers, along whose edge the Ustia River quietly flows. The Stork Field got its name from its feathered friends, the storks, that fly to their nests in spring. In the middle of the field there is a wonderful recreation area with a stage and gazebos, where you can hear Ukrainian songs, take part in festivals and rituals, and join master classes in scythe peening, making motanka dolls, flail threshing, binding sheaves and bundles and stacking them into haystacks, and much more. And as a keepsake you can buy a souvenir from this amazing land.
How to get there? It is very simple: from the entrance to the village from the direction of Vasylkiv, at coordinates 50.18487,30.40105105
