The National Museum of Folk Architecture and Life of Ukraine in Pirohiv is the largest open-air museum in the country. Its grounds are divided into different zones representing various ethnographic regions of Ukraine, such as Left Bank Ukraine, Slobozhanshchina, Polissia, Podillia, and the Carpathians.
The museum offers visitors a journey into the past, where they can see traditional residential and economic complexes, including houses, granaries, windmills, and other elements of a historic Ukrainian village. In addition to architectural landmarks, the museum boasts a vast collection of around 100,000 exhibits, including folk clothing, furniture, tools, and works of folk art.
