Wide well

An old well in the centre of the village of Malopolovetske. The name comes from its geometric parameters: the well is much wider than it is long. Locals say that everyone, young and old, knows about the well’s healing power. Even during the German-Soviet war the Germans knew well about this spring and throughout the whole occupation did not try to destroy it, since they themselves had become convinced of the healing power of the spring water.
