"Our Doll" Windmill Festival

"Svitlytsia" opens registration for the 7th "Nasha Lialka" ("Our Doll") motanka festival! Every year, the "Svitlytsia" exhibition hall is filled with warmth, tradition, and incredible creative energy. This year is no exception! We are happy to announce that we are now accepting applications.

We invite artisans, creative clubs, and studios to be a part of this year's festival!

What kind of work is accepted?

• Motanka dolls (traditional Ukrainian rag dolls).

• Decorative and applied art pieces themed around the motanka doll.

The exhibition will take place at the "Svitlytsia" venue from September 12 to October 10, 2026. Don't delay—send your application to the email address: svitlytsiabro@gmail.com.

In your email, you must include: the name of the artisan/participant/club, city, a photo of the work, a short description, and an interesting story about its creation (if available)—we will definitely include it in our tour program!

Important terms:

• Participation is free!

• No more than 2 works per participant.

• Application deadline: September 8, 2026.

• Each participant will receive a Certificate of Participation (sent to the email address from which the application is submitted).

During the festival, you can look forward to:

• Masterclasses from talented participants.

• Exciting tours for organized groups.

• A "Photo from the Exhibition" contest.
