Rzhyshchiv Archaeological and Local History Museum

The Archaeological and Local History Museum in Rzhyshchiv is a modern landmark with extraordinary artefacts in its exhibition, found in the territory of the city by archaeologists during excavations. Every year the museum hosts scientific and educational seminars, conferences, and ethnographic and theatrical events dedicated to events of history and the present day. Thematic evenings and meetings with famous people and groups are traditional. Art exhibitions, exhibitions of decorative and applied art and of folk craftsmen are organised in the museum’s exhibition hall. In recent years, starting from 2013, the museum has been a co-organiser of open-air workshops for young artists, which resulted in the creation of more than a hundred paintings.
