You can already feel the breath of Easter in the air — quiet, warm, filled with traditions and meanings passed down from generation to generation… It is in such an atmosphere that an event is born that will unite hearts, colours and stories.
We invite you to the Easter festival “Pysanky of the Kyiv Region” — a special encounter with living Ukrainian tradition, where every pattern has meaning and every pysanka has its own soul.
This event is a sincere collaboration between the Vyshhorod Historical and Cultural Reserve and the Rzhyshchiv Archaeological and Local History Museum (Kyiv Oblast communal institution). Together we are creating a space where the heritage of the Kyiv region comes alive, where traditions are not merely preserved — they sound, breathe and touch the heart.
A special highlight of the festival will be the participation of Zoia Stashchuk — Honoured Master of Folk Art of Ukraine, member of the National Union of Folk Art Masters of Ukraine, who has devoted more than two decades to pysanka-making, creating thousands of unique works and combining traditional ornaments with her own vision in her art, actively popularising and preserving the Ukrainian pysanka heritage.
