100 years since the birth of Honoured Artist of Ukraine Volodymyr Sydoruk.
From 1950 the painter Volodymyr Sydoruk lived and worked in our picturesque Irpin. He drew inspiration from its beauty and transferred it onto his timeless canvases. He created unique, vivid still lifes, landscapes and large-format paintings. Art lovers around the world admired his works.
The artist’s heart stopped at the age of 72, near the doors of the Irpin Museum, where he was heading to arrange an exhibition of his works. Until his last day he painted and left behind a huge body of work.
