At Fastiv railway station, between the tracks leading to Koziatyn and Bila Tserkva, there is a unique Railcar Museum, where in December 1918 political figures signed the preliminary text of the “Act of Unification” – the Treaty on the Unification of the Ukrainian People’s Republic and the West Ukrainian People’s Republic (WUPR).
The museum’s exhibition is very complete and interesting, and the museum’s director, Eduard Mondzelevskyi, talks about Ukraine’s struggle for independence in the early 20th century so engagingly that everyone leaves the museum a true connoisseur of history.
