Play “The Kaidash Family”

A folk show in 2 acts. The classics always remain interesting to the audience, because they raise questions that are relevant in all times. The play “The Kaidash Family”, based on the novella by I. Nechui-Levytsky and staged by V. Stasenko, combines the unique colour of the famous work with an innovative approach to creating a stage performance. The depth of its themes (lack of spirituality, people’s disrespect for one another, the sinfulness of society) is revealed easily and naturally, in a humorous form, against the background of bright sets in an original style and accompanied by live music performed by the theatre’s orchestra. All this (an extraordinary authorial vision, bright sets and costumes, musical accompaniment, the talented acting) creates a spectacular folk show that leaves no one in the audience indifferent and evokes a whirlwind of emotions.
