"Colors of My Path" is the title of a solo exhibition by artist Serhii Pasika, which was presented on Saturday, June 13, in the gallery of the Boyarka Local History Museum.
Serhii Pasika is an artist, a frontline soldier, and a veteran of the Russian-Ukrainian war. The exhibition featured 46 of the artist’s canvases, showcasing delicate landscapes of the Ukrainian countryside, forests, and seascapes. It felt as if all four seasons had converged within the halls of the Boyarka museum.
Psychologist Kateryna Vysotska, who specializes in the psychological rehabilitation of veterans returning from the front and works with the stress and trauma caused by the war, spoke highly of one of the artist's works. "Such paintings could only be created by an enlightened, kind-hearted soul, one who seems never to have been wounded by negativity," she noted. "The paintings carry a restorative positivity that borders on meditation."
To create and showcase beauty, to be inspired and to inspire others to embrace Life—this is the artist’s creative credo.
