“Wine and Taste Roads of the Kyiv Region”: What Awaits Tourists in the Yahotyn Direction

A wine and taste road has been created in Kyiv Oblast. It is a network of gastronomic and tourist routes with a historical and cultural component called “Wine and Taste Roads of the Kyiv Region”. This project not only introduces tourists to the culture and gastronomic curiosities of the region, but also promotes the development of rural areas and awakens interest in the region’s products.

So far, 5 directions of the “Roads” have been developed: Rzhyshchiv, Yasnohorodka, Chornobyl, Yabluniv and Yahotyn. We will take a closer look at the top locations of the Gastro Route in the Yahotyn Direction.

Meadery “Medovyi Spas”

Here they produce a unique natural honey drink called “Sikera”. It is made from honey and first-press fruit and berry juices, with no added alcohol or sugar. It is the result of a carefully tested recipe and exceptionally high-quality natural ingredients – sweet, sun-filled honey and juicy fruit. Besides its bright flavour, “Sikera” has a rich mineral composition of vitamins and trace elements. Tourists will see this for themselves while tasting this refined drink. A tour of the enterprise and an interesting story from the owner also await them.

Ceramic Workshop Perekhrest-Ceramic

Here tourists will see the halls where ceramic items are made and fired, as well as a showroom with the products. In addition, Perekhrest-Ceramic will host a master class on making talismans with traditional symbols.

Goat Farm Zinka

The brand, focused on dairy goat farming, was born in the fields of the farm “Tetiana 2011”, which has long worked in crop farming, livestock farming, horticulture and the processing of animal products. Here you will see the goats and their living conditions, and taste natural, high-quality goat cheese.
