Gastro Routes of the “Wine and Taste Roads of the Kyiv Region”: What Awaits Tourists in the Yasnohorodka Direction

Gastronomic tourism is being actively developed in Kyiv Oblast. Among the achievements in this area is the network of organised oeno-gastronomic tourist routes “Wine and Taste Roads of the Kyiv Region”. Its main points of interest are restaurants, local producers, places open to visitors, gastro-tourism complexes and so on.

So far, 5 directions of the network have been developed: Rzhyshchiv, Yasnohorodka, Chornobyl, Yabluniv and Yahotyn. We will take a closer look at the top locations of the Gastro Route in the Yasnohorodka Direction.

Family Eco-Park “Yasnohorodka”

The eco-park’s territory includes an ostrich farm, a winery, a wine bar, a banquet hall, BBQ Park, Rancho 4X4 Rally, the restaurant Ferma. Local Food Hub, and a petting zoo.

Ostrich Farm

The family eco-park is home to the largest ostrich farm in Ukraine. More than 500 birds live here on 6 hectares of green territory.

Rancho 4X4 Rally

This is a children’s attraction where kids from the age of 4 can race on quad bikes. There are 2 types of tracks of different difficulty levels. The tracks are 310 metres and 448 metres long (for children and teenagers respectively).

Winery

The staff of the Yasnohorodka winery produce 15 thousand bottles a year. The family eco-park’s territory has vineyards, a wine cellar and even a small wine museum. So tourists can look forward to tours and tastings for a full immersion in the atmosphere of winemaking.

FERMA. Local Food Hub

FERMA. Local Food Hub is a restaurant with a philosophy of locavorism, that is, using local products. This means tourists will be delighted by a combination of quality, taste and benefit in every dish.

Petting Zoo

At the eco-park’s petting zoo, visitors can enjoy many pleasant emotions from interacting with the animal world. Residents include deer, Highland cattle, buffalo, rabbits, pigs, goats, lambs, hens, fighting cocks, peacocks, owls, camels, horses, ostriches, llamas, monkeys, marmots and many others.
