One of the most interesting places on the route is Power Unit 4 of the Chornobyl Nuclear Power Plant. It was here in 1986 that the terrible accident occurred that echoed around the world. Until recently, practically only ChNPP employees could see Power Unit 4 from the inside, and only a year ago the premises became accessible to visitors to the Zone.
