We invite you to visit the unique Local History Museum devoted to the life and exploits of the outstanding fellow countryman – Colonel General of Tank Forces Andrii Hryhorovych Kravchenko, twice Hero of the former Soviet Union. This is a place where history comes alive and the heroic past is combined with the present.
The museum was created to honour the memory of the defenders of the Motherland, to form patriotic values and to preserve the historical traditions of the Kyiv region.
What to see:
Unique exhibitions devoted to the life of A. H. Kravchenko, his combat path and the exploits of his fellow countrymen in the Second World War.
Stories about the participation of the people of Sulymivka in the liberation battles, as well as about today’s Heroes of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Exhibitions devoted to the revolutionary events, the first five-year plans and the labour achievements of the villagers. A separate place is occupied by the exhibition on our people’s present-day struggle against the rashists.
Right next to the museum – real military equipment: a tank, a cannon and a mortar, which let you feel the spirit of military valour.
An alley of 40 fir trees planted in honour of the 40th anniversary of the Victory over fascism – a living symbol of memory and peace.
