The Art Gallery is located in a historic building, the former Razumovsky-Repnin palace, which is a monument of provincial architecture of the late 18th – early 19th centuries.
Visitors are presented with works of Ukrainian art: painting, sculpture, graphics, decorative art, old icons, and items made of ceramics, glass and wood carving. Several halls hold paintings by well-known artists of Ukraine and original works by local masters.
The jewel of the Art Gallery’s exhibition is the most complete collection of works (more than 70) – paintings, watercolours, graphics, sketches, drafts, studies, early and unfinished canvases – by People’s Artist of Ukraine Kateryna Bilokur. Her legacy is a national artistic treasure.
